Social Events Calendar
London Lunch
This took place on Monday 1 July at the Boot and Flogger 10-20 Redcross Way, Southwark, London SE1 1TA.
Scotland Lunch (provisional)
This lunch is due to be held on Thursday 3 October in Edinburgh but at the time we went to press there is some uncertainty concerning the choice of venue due to cost and booking arrangements. The Scotland RLO and lunch organiser, Archie Mears, will let us know when he has been able to make suitable arrangements. This will be published in our next Newsletter and on our website and by general email invitation as well as to attendees of this event in previous years.
Golf Day at Hever Castle Golf Club
This event is due to be held on Thursday 26 September from 10 am. The plan for the day includes a full English breakfast and coffee on arrival, 18 holes on the Club’s Championship course followed by a sandwich lunch and prizes. Bedford Lunch (2025)
After the success for the lunch held in April a date for next year, Wednesday 23 April 2025 has already been provisionally booked. This will be held at The Kingfisher, Bedford MK44 3SA (www.thekingfisherbedford.co.uk). Further details will be published in due course on the website noticeboard. AGM and Annual Reception - Joining Instructions and Practical Information.
The 36th Annual General Meeting to be held at 12.15pm on Friday 4th October 2024 followed by the Annual Reception to be held from 1pm.
Both these events will be held in the private room on the first floor of The Mudlark, in Montague Close, London SE1 9DA.
Please note: The AGM and Annual Reception are being held on the first floor of the venue. We advise that this venue is not equipped with a lift and hence the venue can only be accessed via stairs. The washroom facilities are only available on the ground floor.
The formal notice and papers for the AGM van be accessed and downloaded by clicking the buttons below.
To make the meeting as efficient and productive as possible, we would prefer Members to send any questions they wish to ask to the Secretary before the meeting. Answers will be given during the meeting. Questions should be sent either by email ([email protected]) or post to arrive no later than 15th September 2024. Of course, we will also try to ensure that any questions that Members wish to raise at the meeting are noted.
If you wish to attend either or both events, Members are required to complete an acceptance form (see button link below) or, alternatively, you can send your acceptance by email. See instructions below.
