ANZ UK Pensions Team Notice
We are trying to trace a number of pension scheme members with whom we have lost contact.
If you are still in touch with anybody that worked for the Bank in the UK before 2005, who was an ANZ, Grindlays, McCaughans or Brandts employee and who have not received any recent communication from the UK Pensions Team, please do ask them to get in touch by email to [email protected], with their name, which entity they worked for and approximate dates of service.
We are trying to trace a number of pension scheme members with whom we have lost contact.

Social Events Calendar (2026)
Kent Lunch
This is scheduled to take place on Friday 6 March at the Hever Castle Golf Club. The venue will provide us with a semi-private dining room and a three-course lunch. Details will be published in the New Year.
Bedford Lunch
After the success for the lunch held in April a date for next year, Wednesday 15 April 2026 has already been provisionally booked. This will be held at The Kingfisher, Bedford MK44 3SA (www.thekingfisherbedford.co.uk). Further details will be published in due course. London Lunch
This is scheduled to take place on Monday 13 July at the Boot and Flogger, 10-20 Redcross Way, London SE1 1TA. This is a short walk from London Bridge via Borough High Street and Southwark Street. The venue will provide us with a semi-private dining room and a three-course lunch. Details will be published in the spring.
Golf Day at Hever Castle Golf Club
This event is due to be held on Thursday 24 September from 10 am. The plan for the day includes a full English breakfast and coffee on arrival, 18 holes on the Club’s Championship course followed by a sandwich lunch and prizes. ANZ Share Transactions (for UK Residents)
Unfortunately, the link on the ANZ Investor Relations webpage with the name of UK stockbrokers who could arrange for the sale of ANZ shares on the Australian stock exchange was removed several months ago. It now seems, for reasons unknown to us, they cannot re-establish a link with this information, despite our requests.
Nevertheless, we are pleased to advise that an Australian stockbroker, Bell Potter Securities has confirmed to us that they are prepared to arrange the sale of ANZ shares on behalf of our Members, including the foreign exchange transactions to remit the proceeds to a UK bank account in British pounds.
If you wish to use Bell Potter Securities to sell ANZ shares, please contact Peter Magor via his email at [email protected]. Peter Magor is a Senior Investment Advisor in their Melbourne office and, in the past, was involved in the establishment of the original ANZ employee share schemes. He has assured us that his team will be pleased to assist former UK ANZ employees with the sale of their ANZ shares.
It should be noted that, as with UK stock brokers, Bell Potter Securities will initially require the normal ID and address verification documentation and this will involve obtaining certified copy documents and sending them to Bell Potter Securities in Australia.
Please note that while Bell Potter Securities has a London office, they are unable to deal with personal clients. We should also stress that the ANZ Pensioners’ Association cannot accept any responsibility with regard to the services provided by Bell Potter Securities as a result of this notice.
